About
Darning needles are used for darning and mending clothing, we recommend matching the size of the needle you use to the thread you are using to make your repair. DMC Darners needles come in sizes 1-18. Unlike other hand sewing needles, darning needle sizes increase with the size of the needle so the smaller the number the smaller the needle so a size 18 darners needle is the thickest we sell.
We have two packs of mixed needles:
Ref 1769U/1 contains 10 x darning needles in sizes 1-5:
2 x size 1
4 x size 3
4 x size 5
Ref 1769U/2 contains 5 x darning needles one of each in sizes 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18.
We offer the most popular size of darning needle in packs of 6:
Ref 1769/3 contains 6 x darning needles in size 18
DMC needles are synonymous with the very best of needle manufacturing, quality and reliability. We use best quality nickel plated steel which offers excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion. Our premium needles are packaged in high quality resealable packs so you can keep them clean and safe between uses.
Our colour categorisation helps you find the needles you are looking for: yellow for cross stitch, coral for embroidery, turquoise for tapestry, brown for golden needles, green for plastic needles, light green for beading needles, blue for chenille needles and orange for darning needles.
