Thérèse de Dillmont had a gift for designing figural representations of people and animals in motion. These vintage patterns from the DMC archive feature a lady figure-skating and a man skiing. They are wonderful examples of her amazing capability to design the human figure in motion. Thérèse de Dillmont is one of history’s most loved embroiderers, she published many embroidery patterns in collaboration with DMC. Her Encyclopedia of Needlework, published in 1886 is still in print today. Stitch using DMC Mouliné Spécial and cross stitches & back stitches.
